About us

Parallelismi is a digital platform dedicated to interiors and design, born from the encounter between two generations and the shared vision of architects Fabrizia Frezza and Alessandra Coccia.

It was created with the aim of transforming the way design is discovered, experienced and purchased online. Unlike a traditional e-commerce platform, Parallelismi starts with the space itself: through fully designed immersive environments, furniture and objects are presented within their context, allowing users to understand their proportions, combinations and character before making a choice.

Each piece is born from the encounter between design and craftsmanship and is made in Italy by Italian artisans, selected for their expertise and the quality of their work. Pieces can be purchased and, where possible, customized in terms of dimensions, materials and finishes.

The platform brings together research, design and commerce through four sections: Atelier, dedicated to Parallelismi collections; Selection, showcasing new designers and emerging talents; Edition, dedicated to collaborations; and Timeless, a curated selection of vintage and timeless pieces.

Parallelismi offers a new way to explore design: not simply a selection of objects, but spaces to experience, discover and transform.

Atelier

Atelier is the space dedicated to collections designed by Fabrizia Frezza Studio. Rooted in ongoing design research and extensive experience in architecture and interior design, it transforms ideas, needs and intuitions into objects created for contemporary spaces. Each piece is followed throughout the entire process, from the initial concept and selection of materials to its final production, through a continuous dialogue with artisans and specialized makers. Atelier represents the most design-driven expression of Parallelismi: an ever-evolving collection where form, materials and function come together to create furniture with a distinctive identity.

Timeless

Timeless is a curated selection of objects and furniture from the past, chosen for their ability to continue a dialogue with contemporary spaces. Vintage and antique pieces, as well as objects with a story, are discovered and placed within new contexts, creating unexpected connections between different eras, styles and design languages. Timeless is based on the idea that the value of an object is not defined solely by the time in which it was created, but by its ability to transcend time, evolve and continuously find new ways of inhabiting a space.

Selection

Selection was created to discover, support and give visibility to new design talent. Parallelismi selects projects by emerging designers and guides them through the journey that transforms an idea from a drawing into a finished piece. The selected projects are developed, produced and introduced into the collections and environments of the platform, creating a dialogue between different visions and design languages. Selection is a space for research and experimentation, conceived to give a new generation of designers the opportunity to transform their ideas into real objects and share their work with a wider audience.

Edition

Edition is the space dedicated to collaborations and special collections. It is born from the encounter between Parallelismi and companies, brands, artisans and creative partners with whom we share expertise, materials and visions. Each collaboration becomes an opportunity to develop original products and capsule collections, bringing together Parallelismi’s creative and design direction with the expertise and identity of each partner. Edition presents design as the result of a shared process, where different experiences and worlds come together to create something new.

Parallelismi Collective is the world surrounding Parallelismi, where design, architecture and creativity take on different forms.

The Podcast was born from the dialogue between us, Fabrizia and Alessandra, mother and daughter, both architects. Two generations and two perspectives coming together with irony and spontaneity to talk about architecture, design, experiences and everything that inspires our curiosity.

The Magazine is our editorial space, where through articles, interviews and in-depth features we share stories, places, people and new perspectives on the world of design.

The Design Studio is dedicated to interior design: a space where you can contact us to develop projects together, from the initial concept to the definition and selection of furniture, materials and finishes.
