Architect Interior Designer Alessandra Coccia is an architect and designer. Her background in architecture led her to approach design as a natural extension of spatial practice, developing a particular interest in the relationship between objects, people, and their surroundings. Her approach begins with observation: gestures, habits, and the different ways in which spaces and the objects within them are used. Functionality therefore becomes the starting point of the design process, not as a limit to creativity, but as an opportunity to imagine new possibilities. In her work, she seeks to combine this attention to function with a more instinctive and unrestricted approach, experimenting with forms, proportions, colours, and movement, while allowing herself the freedom to be bold. At the beginning of her professional journey, she sees design as a means of research and discovery. An open and evolving process through which she is gradually developing her own language, allowing it to grow through experiences, encounters, and everything she has yet to discover.
